Happy 4th

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July. We are finaly almost moved and have been painting and just having fun with Lauren playing games reading drawing. Found her a new preschool She will start in Aug.

My Thoughts

I have been thinking alot latley and I have been spending much time at my machine. I left my group of girls SweetStreet and I will be cutting back alot on my sewing to spend time with Lauren. I didn't want to wake up one day and my princess be 18 and wonder where the time went and why I didn't spend more time with her. My baby will be 4 on the 25th of this month and I want her to have wonderful memories of her childhood with mom and dad unlike me. I do spoil her rotten but you know money and items can't fill those little spots of time cuddling playing games, reading etc etc. So go grab your child and spend some time with them.

I just listed my extra sewing machine. It is in excellent shape just had it serviced Bernina 1020 plus tons of extras. Lauren went from having no list to a huge list for her birthday. The main thing she wants is a Barbie Jeep that she calls a tiny hum hum. It is a great machine for any level of sewing

Let's Play Ball

Lauren is a pro at ball. She has been wanting a bat and ball for sometime now. She found a Dora one so we let her get it because the ball was really soft. Thank goodness it is because hubby threw it to her and she hit it and it hit him right on the nose LOL I had to laugh though. She woke me p this morning saying mom get up she was all dressed and ready to go play ball some more. Well needless to say she got upset because I needed coffee to wake up. Here is some pictures of her she was so determined and you can see it in her face. When she hit it she would run aroud doing a dance saying I did it I did it. I was so proud of her. Now I gotta check in on the T-ball team for her I think she will enjoy it.

Happy Easter

Just wanted t wish you a Happy Easter. We will be hunting Eggs today as it s suppose to be cold and rainy on Easter. I put Lauren's Easter Basket full of her goodies right where she could see it first thing when she woke this morning. I heard a gasp then I heard mom mom mom and pitter patter of feet. She was thrilled and didn't know what to look at first.


Each year we always have a golden egg. Last year was a bracelet this year we asked what she wanted in her golden egg. She replied just like a girl MONEY!!! I had to laugh hubby said what have you created LOL I said a girl in her right mind will always want money,jewels,shoes,purse or clothing.;)

Strawberry Bliss

I just thought I would let you know I am still around:) I have been very busy but not sewing this time. Lauren goes to speech 2 times a week now. She is in Gymnastics now and just joined in Karate classes. Those are on Sat. Karate first then run to the Gymnastics class.

Funny story we were going to her first gymnastics class she seen children in the gym taking Karate classes and she said mom hiiiiiiyaaaaaa. I about died laughing. She loved her gymnastics and when the class was over she said mom wait I'm not done yet. She wanted to stay and do them some more. I got her all buckled up in her car seat she said mom my hiiiiyaaaa class I told her I will call and see if they had a class for 3 year olds. Well I had to call right then and there. Well finally the instructor called me yesterday and said yes she can join in. Lauren will be the youngest in the class. The rest are 4-5 year olds. When we told her OMG you would have thought she won a million toys. It so made her day and then she went to taking her dad down kicking and hitting saying hiiiyaaaa.

The other things I have been doing is selling things in our house we don't use or need. Some vintage glass, pottery,collectable dolls etc etc. We are going to move I don't want to pack all this stuff up. I told hubby 6 months and I want out of this tiny town. So been researching my things and listing them on ebay. To darn time consuming.

Tink(Lauren's puppy) is growing like a weed and very smart. She has learned to sit and stay not bad for 8 weeks old:) Walks good on the leash doesn't pull and sometimes on the way back home on our block Lauren walks her and that just tickles her. She thinks she is a big girl.

So that is what I have been up to. I am thinking of listing some of my popular designs from last year that I only have enough material to make one more outfit to clean out some of my material. Some of the material you can not find anywhere anymore so be on the look out for them.
